What you’ll do
Cut and form sheet metal parts to engineered drawings and tight tolerances.Operate Amada laser and Amada brake press; program and form simple bends.Identify correct material, programs, and dies per work orders.Set up tooling; retrieve and modify preprogrammed CNC instructions as needed.Troubleshoot cut issues, damaged tooling, and equipment alarms.Deburr parts using manual and automatic equipment; advance parts to the next routing step.Remove finished parts from laser nests; sort and store materials using forklift / overhead crane.Partner with programmers daily; perform basic PMs and maintain 5S standards.What you’ll bring
1+ years of experience on comparable laser / press brake machinery.Mechanical aptitude, strong print-reading, and measurement proficiency (calipers, tape, micrometers).Math skills with fractions / decimals; high attention to detail.Adaptability in ambiguous situations; ability to reset priorities quickly.Team-first communication style.Ability to safely lift / lower / push / pull up to 40 lbs.Schedule
