Job Description

We’re looking for a  Senior Product Designer  to drive the next chapter of M1’s growth. You’ll focus on how new clients discover, understand, and fall in love with M1, from first impression to first investment. This is a hands-on role for a designer who thrives at the intersection of product, marketing, and brand, and who cares deeply about elevating craft and conversion.

You’ll join a small, high-impact team where design is central to product strategy and where your work will directly shape how hundreds of thousands of people experience financial empowerment.

What you’ll do

• Design for awareness and conversion.  Bring M1’s story to life through intelligent onboarding flows, in-product education, and high-performing landing experiences that help new clients understand M1’s value and confidently take their first steps.
• Connect with clients.  Listen, observe, and turn their feedback into actionable insights and ideas that drive meaningful outcomes, ensuring every design decision is grounded in real user needs.
• Explore, prototype, and test rapidly.  Use data and insights to move from hypothesis to polished design with speed and rigor, validating ideas through user research, experimentation, and measurable results.
• Elevate craft through systems.  Be an active contributor to Liquid, M1’s design system, defining components, tokens, and patterns that make our experiences consistent, scalable, and beautiful.
• Collaborate deeply.  Work side-by-side with Product Management, Engineering, Brand and Marketing to ensure ideas are not only beautiful but feasible, performant, and grounded in strategy.
