Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $20.00 - $34.00 per hour
Schedule : Monday to Friday – 8-hour shifts with overtime available. Day shifts, some projects may require evening shift. (Weekends as needed scheduled with notice)

Reads blueprints, specifications, and work orders to assess work required. Makes calculations and uses measuring devices for layout workDetermines installation and repair methods based on blueprints, specifications, and work ordersRemoves damaged, defective or obsolete sheet metal materials and parts.Cuts, bends and shapes out pieces using power and machine toolsInspects the accuracy of fabricated parts and makes necessary adjustments using shears, grinders and other toolsFastens pieces of sheet metal including seams and joints with welds, bolts, cement, rivets or other connecting devices. Installs ducts and other sheet metal parts and products, lifting and setting parts in place, joining them end to end, and making connections with HVAC equipmentOperates specialized equipment including hacksaws, punch & drill presses & welding equipment to cut, alter & install partsFollow all safety protocols and regulationsQualified candidates will have :
High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Preferred)2 years minimum of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or Jr Mechanic.Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust have a valid driver's license(Please note if you do not meet the qualifications above, please see our job posting for Sheet Metal Apprentice)
