Purpose

We are looking for a Sr. / Lead PLM Administrator to join our Enterprise Applications team. You will own the day-to-day operation, support, and optimization of our Teamcenter PLM ecosystem. This role ensures that engineering and manufacturing teams have a robust, reliable, and scalable platform to manage product data and workflows. You will be hands-on with configuration, troubleshooting, user support, and upgrades, while also driving improvements in PLM processes and standards.

The Role

PLM Solution Architecture & Development

  • Provide administration, configuration, and support for Siemens Teamcenter (Rich Client & Active Workspace)
  • Manage user access, roles, and licensing; ensure system security and compliance
  • Support integrations between Teamcenter and NX CAD / CAM, ERP, and MES systems
  • Configure and maintain workflows for design, change management (ECO), and manufacturing release
  • Troubleshoot user issues, resolve performance bottlenecks, and coordinate with Siemens or IT infrastructure teams as needed
  • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and best practices
  • Lead upgrades, patches, and testing cycles for PLM environments
  • Partner with engineering, IT, and manufacturing stakeholders to continuously improve PLM adoption and usability

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
  • 5+ years of hands-on Siemens Teamcenter administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of PLM concepts, including product structures, workflows, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience integrating PLM with CAD (NX preferred) and other enterprise systems.
  • Working knowledge of Active Workspace configuration and customization.
  • Scripting or automation skills (e.g., ITK, Tcl, Python, or SQL).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to support both technical and non-technical users.
  • Comfortable working in the defense industry
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience with Easy Plan, Opcenter, and Mendix
  • Experience with data migrations, upgrades, and multi-site environments
  • Experience in a manufacturing or high-growth technology business
  • Work Environment

  • This is an on-site role located in our Torrance, CA headquarters.
  • Compensation

    At Divergent, our pay range is based on the level of the job. For this role, we will consider candidates at levels of Senior - Lead as evaluated through our interview process.

  • Senior PLM Administrator / E05 : $122,400 - $168,300
  • Lead PLM Administrator / E06 : $141,400 - $194,400
  • Pay Range

    $122,400—$194,400 USD
