About the position\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Provide postpartum care to mothers and newborns.\n
• Monitor antepartum patients requiring fetal monitoring.\n
• Support specialized gynecological surgeries.\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers for comprehensive patient care.\n
• Participate in shared governance and contribute to unit decision-making.\n\nRequirements\n
• Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree from an accredited program (for external applicants).\n
• Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License.\n
• BLS certification at time of hire, issued by the American Heart Association.\n
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification at time of hire.\n
• 1 year of postpartum or medical-surgical nursing experience, or a new graduate with senior capstone in postpartum setting.\n\nNice-to-haves\n
• Maternal Newborn Certification.\n
• Inpatient Obstetric Certification.\n
• Medical / Surgical Certification.\n
• International Board of Certified Lactation Consultation (IBCLC).\n
