Medical Oncology Physician (MD / DO) | MUSC Health | Bluffton, SC

Overview

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking board certified or board eligible Hematology / Oncology physicians to help grow a newly established, community-based practice located in Bluffton, SC. Physicians will coordinate patient care and manage the treatment of cancer diagnoses in collaboration with providers in MUSC's Division of Hematology & Oncology at Hollings Cancer Center (HCC).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and manage treatment of cancer diagnoses in collaboration with MUSC's Division of Hematology & Oncology.
• Practice-based call to be shared among physicians in the practice.
• Utilize NCCN guidelines for cancer treatment decisions.
• Join a team dedicated to expanding access to cancer care in Charleston and surrounding communities.
• Participate in a well-established referral base and a community-based practice serving a unique patient population.
• Access RN and LPN support and medical center privileges with opportunities to precept.
