As a Security Officer - Flex Access Control in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment at a manufacturing and industrial location. What You'll Do :

  • Perform access control duties to help manage entry and exit of authorized personnel and visitors at the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor identification badges and credentials to support site-specific access procedures.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting with directions or information as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and / or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
  • Follow all security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client leadership.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with local emergency services if required.
  • Maintain accurate logs and / or reports of daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities encountered during shifts.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid Guard Card and / or security-related license is preferred.
  • Certification in CPR and / or First Aid is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
