Electrical Test Engineer

As an Electrical Test Engineer, a typical day might include the following :

• Evaluate new test technologies and methods.
• Determine Design for Test (DFT) specifications and coordinate with engineering staff on new product design.
• Design, develop, and maintain test strategies for new and existing products that meet corporate objectives.
• Train production testing staff in function, design, and maintenance of all testing processes on the production floor.
• Gather and analyze test data to improve test coverage and efficiencies. This job might be for you if you have :
• BSEE or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience designing and developing electrical / electronic production tests
• 2+ years of experience in electronic design, manufacturing and testing
• Skills in design and construction of test fixtures
• Experience in writing test procedures and test documentation Location Information : Lewiston, ID - This position is located at SEL's state of the art manufacturing facility in Lewiston, ID where you'll enjoy an unmatched quality of life. Pay Range Data : We anticipate filling this position as an Electrical Test Engineer, however, we are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Associate Test Engineer : $60,800.00 to $95,000.00 annually.
