• Responsibilities : This is a full-time role for an OB / GYN physician with the U.S. Navy. The role involves providing specialized care to service members and their families, ensuring reproductive health and well-being. We offer a wide range of services, including routine screenings, preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment of reproductive health conditions. Manage pregnancies, provide labor and delivery care, and perform surgeries such as cesarean sections or other gynecological procedures. Additionally, address conditions like menstrual disorders, fertility issues, and pelvic health. Your work supports the health and readiness of service members, in both operational and clinical environments, ensuring they maintain their physical and mental well-being during their service.
• Work Environment : Serve in diverse settings, including naval hospitals, aboard ships (e.g., aircraft carriers or hospital ships like the USNS Comfort), or at overseas bases. Deployments may take you to conflict zones, humanitarian missions, or disaster relief operations worldwide and a variety of locations across the country.
