A well-established hospital laboratory in Bath, NH is seeking a Microbiology Specialist to serve as a supervisory-level expert in microbiology. If you're an ASCP-certified Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist with at least 5 years of leadership experience, this is your opportunity to guide a high-performing team in a vital diagnostics role.

What You’ll Do :

Oversee daily operations in the Microbiology department, ensuring high-quality and timely testing

Supervise and mentor lab technologists and technicians, providing technical guidance and performance oversight

Perform and review complex microbiological testing, including cultures, antimicrobial susceptibility, and molecular diagnostics

Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, and hospital quality standards

Collaborate with infectious disease, pathology, and infection control teams to support patient care
