Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional projects across multiple business units.
• Apply a consultative approach to assist with functional, technical, and operational, planning and design for the implementation of new systems and / or product enhancements.
• Own Book of Work reporting for assigned projects and is responsible for accurate, timely updates.
• Comprehend overall project scope, dependencies and how individual project deliverables align to them.
• Define project success criteria and disseminate to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
• Lead and direct the work of others in a matrix, cross-organizational project team.
• Execute best practice project management capabilities aligning to TCB APMO methodology and standards.
• Effectively communicate project updates to all levels of organization in a manner appropriate to the targeted audience, from individual contributor team member to C-Suite executive.
• Effectively facilitate cross-functional, technical and business process discussions in a productive manner while not necessarily being the Subject Matter Expert on the topic at hand.
• Prepare executive-level materials and present to executives, vendors, and customers.
• Manage and build relationships with key decision makers from project inception to post-deployment whilst simultaneously ensuring sponsor and end-user satisfaction.
• Balance delivering results with fostering a collaborative approach while problem solving in a group setting with the project team.
• Create detailed execution plans and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate project portfolio management software, proactively identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path across multiple work streams.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues throughout the lifecycle of a project.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and work with other department managers to obtain commitments on assignments.
• Work closely with Program and Portfolio level leadership, keeping tight lines of communication open and listening to direction when course correction is needed.
