Unit : Surgical Intensive Care Unit (Surgical ICU)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 15, 2026

Duration : 13-week nursing contract

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36 hours

Schedule : Every weekend / Every other holiday

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2000 - $2050 per week

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state

ICU certification (Critical Care Registered Nurse preferred)

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Ability to complete all onboarding requirements, including competency testing, health screenings, and background checks

Strong clinical skills and adaptability in a fast-paced ICU environment

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Surgical ICU

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed

Provide support and education to patients and their families

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
