Responsibilities Work in the Operating Room of a short-term acute care hospital Primary cases include trauma, neuro, ortho, robotic, and vascular procedures Shift is four 10-hour days per week from 07 : 00 to 17 : 30 On-call requirement of 1-2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks and potential for 1-2 days with 4-hour shift extensions on weekdays Holiday rotation is required Potential to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals depending on census and volume Cerner is used for charting and Cerner experience is required Scrub uniforms are provided Responsibilities include providing perioperative care for trauma, neuro, ortho, vascular, and robotic surgical cases Must complete up to 8 hours of online training modules prior to the start date Professional conduct and attendance are strictly enforced and any concerns may result in immediate contract termination Returning staff must have a 3-year gap before being eligible to travel at this facility again Requests for time off must be disclosed prior to consideration, with a maximum of 10 days off during the assignment, and willingness to work one of three major holidays if RTO overlaps Requirements Active IN or compact RN license (pending license accepted if active by start date) Current ACLS and BCLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience required Trauma experience is required Strong proficiency in neuro and ortho procedures and experience with vascular and robotic surgery required Cerner charting experience is required Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local applicants are not accepted First-time travelers are accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640064.
