Lead Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to support the evolution and scaling of their virtual primary care platform.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, build, and optimize backend services for scheduling and task management

Define and evolve platform APIs, data models, and service boundaries

Mentor developers and champion improvements in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Required Qualifications

7+ years of professional software engineering experience

5+ years of experience in backend development

Strong proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript, MongoDB, and Redis / message queues

Deep understanding of distributed systems and API design

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration
