Role Summary
The Intersect Group is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to serve as the primary administrator and functional expert for the company's ERP platform, Viewpoint Spectrum. This role is a key liaison between Finance and IT, supporting both the construction and corporate accounting teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of financial systems, construction accounting, and ERP administration, with a proactive mindset and a passion for optimizing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the system administrator and subject matter expert for Viewpoint Spectrum ERP.
- Provide day-to-day support to users across construction and accounting teams, resolving system issues and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
- Maintain and administer foundational data elements such as chart of accounts, locations, and project structures.
- Develop and maintain ad hoc queries, reports, and data upload templates to support financial and operational needs.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams on system integrations and reporting projects involving platforms like Workday and Adaptive Insights.
- Document and test functional requirements for system enhancements and configuration changes.
- Coordinate and execute testing plans for new implementations and process changes.
- Manage user access and security requests through established change management protocols.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and data integrity.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or a related field.
- Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum ERP, particularly in construction or project accounting modules (required).
- Strong understanding of financial close processes and financial reporting.
- Experience in construction or project-based accounting environments.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
- Experience with documenting requirements, testing, and process improvement initiatives.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in Spectrum applications.
- Experience in the construction, engineering, or project-based industries.
- Familiarity with Workday, Adaptive Insights, or similar financial systems.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Self-starter with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently.
