The Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) protects the public by preparing court-involved youth to be successful citizens. DJJ is currently hiring a Paint Lead Worker. This position will maintain interior and exterior surfaces, windows, and trim on buildings and other equipment by sanding, preparing and painting both inside and outside of a secure perimeter juvenile correctional complex. Valid driver's license required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of various compounds, chemicals, materials, and paint types for all surfaces;
• General knowledge of maintenance procedures and related safety procedures;
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work activities and follow verbal and written instructions;
• Demonstrated ability to prepare written estimates for project cost and time completion.
