Overview
Program Management Senior Specialist (Hybrid) (For Pooling) role at Google Operations Center. The Program Management Senior Specialist is the glue that keeps all elements of an email marketing campaign project together. They are organized project managers, communicators, problem solvers, and technical subject matter experts in email marketing. They connect the business (product marketing managers), production project managers, and development teams to ensure projects are well defined, delivered on time, and meet quality standards.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000 - $123,000 + bonus + benefits. Compensation details reflect base salary and do not include bonus or benefits. More details about benefits will be shared during the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Position Responsibilities : Partner with product marketing managers (PMMs) in campaign ideation and intake document formulation. Collaborate with PMMs during ideation, gather technical requirements, confirm feasibility of features, and define potential execution timelines. Guide the PMM through Campaign Requirement Document creation and ensure intake documents are complete for the production team.
- Project manage campaign development and deployment. Kick off and strategically manage campaign production with offshore production teams, provide guidance during production, and manage production timelines. Coordinate with Data Specialists to ensure data requirements and inputs align with HTML development and production processes, acting as a strategic partner between Data Specialists and offshore production teams. Communicate production progress to PMMs, facilitate approvals of proofs and prototypes, and implement changes after review. Proactively flag issues and seek solutions.
- Manage campaign deployment in Gamma and monitor campaign health. Actively manage Gamma deployments and lifecycle (pause, activate, launch Gamma campaigns). Be the expert on Gamma campaigns under management and monitor health through Gamma reporting tools and internal tools. Where applicable, delegate monitoring to Data Specialists and email specialists as the accountable party for campaign health.
- Troubleshoot and solve escalations. Lead resolution by identifying root causes, working with PMMs, production project managers, and the development team; document issues in blameless post mortems and facilitate process improvements to mitigate recurrence.
- Keep things organized. Communicate with offshore production teams via weekly calls, participate in scrums and stand-ups, provide project status updates, and act as a collaborative partner to PMMs leading the scrum. Maintain internal project trackers and post-launch quality control sheets. Ensure accurate work progress tracking in Asana. Drive innovation and excellence by seeking process improvements, including the use of generative AI tools in email creation or production processes.
Minimum Qualifications
Overall 5+ years of experience in project management roles, coordinating projects across multiple organizations and cross-functional teams.2-3 years of experience with email marketing in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrable experience with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Eloqua, Marketing Cloud, etc.Strong, polished, and professional communication skills required for interacting with stakeholders and leading production teams.Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of marketing operations, processes, and business requirements.Proactive and curious attitude with strong problem-solving skills.Familiarity with GenAI (generative AI) for email marketing content, production, and optimization.Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities and a high volume of projects.Benefits
