This part-time position supports the Advancement and Alumni Engagement teams by ensuring smooth daily operations and efficient coordination across the department. This role manages office logistics, budgeting, and supplies; oversees IT and facilities requests; and provides professional front-line service to guests and visitors. Assist with departmental projects, facilitate meetings and events, and support follow-up on key action items for senior leadership. In addition, this position plays an active role in planning and executing Advancement and university events, contributing to a collaborative, organized, and welcoming office environment that advances the mission and goals of the division. This is a part-time (20 hrs / week), on-campus position.
DUTIES :
Executes the daily operations of the Office of Advancement to ensure timely and organized delivery of office activities; oversee office supply needs and IT or Physical Plant work requests; manages the expense for staff and forecasts for the Advancement Office and Alumni Engagement; collect mail, order supplies, maintain a clean and professional office space, greet and receive guests; assist in coordinating departmental projects
Facilitate meetings and events for Advancement staff; provide meeting agenda, minutes and record action items; plan and execute Advancement events, including staff retreats and donor events in partnership with the various campus departments; assist VP and AVP(s) with monitoring follow up and actionable items
Participate as needed in departmental events and activities to support Advancement goals; requested and required events including, but not limited to, various alumni events, Homecoming and Commencement
REQUIREMENTS :
Associate’s degree preferred; combination of education and professional experience may substitute for degree
Three years’ related office experience; proficient Google Suite, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information is essential
