• Summary :
• The Community Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic marketing and communications efforts of the Community Marketing Team at the health plan. He / she is responsible for managing the marketing activities, member retention, market share and membership goals. Includes maximizing member, provider and community participation in a systematic, comprehensive program. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

• The Community Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic marketing and communications efforts of the Community Marketing Team at the health plan. He / she is responsible for managing the marketing activities, member retention, market share and membership goals. Includes maximizing member, provider and community participation in a systematic, comprehensive program. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
• Education & Experience :
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Related field, Marketing, Communications, Social Work, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field required, Masters degree preferred.
• 5 or more years’ hands on experience working in a healthcare outreach, marketing and communications. environment with specific experience related to the Medicaid population.
• At least 5 years of Supervisory / Manager and Team leading Experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking, reading, and writing) preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimum direction.
• Ability to manage priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner within outlined timeframes.
• Must have strong communication, presentation, verbal, and written skills.
• Certification / Licensure :
• Must have a valid Drivers License issued by the state of Texas.
• Must obtain CHW Community Health Worker certification within the first year of being in the role.
