Job Overview
Our Manufacturing Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in the planning and execution of manufacturing processes. This position requires a blend of shop knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to production needs. The primary focus is on coordinating the various components of production. A successful Production Coordinator ensures that production goals are met on time, while maintaining high-quality standards.
Manufacturing Coordinator Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate production schedules and manufacturing activities
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve any production issues - hold owners accountable to tasks
- Ensure and verify all stage gates are completed to allow for clear-to-build
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records
- Support in timely delivery of finished products
- Monitor workflow and provide schedule updates as necessary to meet production targets
Requirements
Previous experience in any of the following metal manufacturing roles : Coordination role, Inventory control, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Shop Management.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and best practicesFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principlesProficiency in inventory management softwareExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProject management experienceKnowledge of quality control standardsHigh school diploma or equivalent4-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of manufacturing safety standardsAcute attention to detailOptimizing efficienciesAbility to work effectively both independently and in a teamTime management skillsProduction schedulingBenefits
