Associate Attorney focusing on civil litigation.

Overview

Full-time, in-person position with flexibility for occasional remote work as needed and appropriate.

Litigation firm concentrating in plaintiff’s personal injury, wrongful death, and consumer / employee class actions. The firm has a particular emphasis in medical negligence and product liability cases.

The firm’s typical cases are complex, lengthy, and interesting. You will work as part of a team of lawyers and support staff who collaborate to pursue complex cases, and will also have the opportunity to take the lead on some cases. You will also have the opportunity to try cases in jury trials and collaborate on important cases with exceptional attorneys from around the country.

Requirements :

• The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in civil or criminal litigation and some trial experience, but all candidates will be considered.
• Admitted to practice in Kentucky
• Record of adhering to the highest ethical standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills; enjoy dealing professionally with coworkers and opposing counsel
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Effective oral advocacy and comfort arguing in court
• Attention to detail
• Ability to utilize electronic case management software and emerging AI tools
• Highly motivated, self-started, with excellent work ethic
