Boiler Operator - Located in Warroad, MN

Job Overview :

In this position, you will be an important member of the boiler operations team. You will operate within Marvin’s team-based environment and be responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and performance of wood fed and natural gas boilers. Having the ability to trouble shoot and repair / PM mechanical systems on a wide variety of boiler equipment will make this role both challenging and rewarding.

Highlights of your role :

• Safe working and good housekeeping habits
• Preform all Daily / hourly checks to adhere to state laws.
• Monitor wood material feed system and solve any auger or conveying problems.
• Execute preventative maintenance and repairs on all boiler systems.
• Ability to understand and resolve low water cut off issues.
• Monitoring and operating boiler operations and equipment
• Ability to perform shut down, rake out, and start up boilers properly.
• Lead annual tear down, cleaning, and assembly of boilers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues (as qualified)
• Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as a pay loader
• Ability to work with boiler chemical additives
• Ability to teach others boiler operation procedures and systems

Compensation : $30 - $38 per hour
