Job Overview :
Sports Research is seeking a highly-skilled Brand Specialist to support our brand strategy initiatives. As the Brand Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in market research; supporting and executing a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with our company's marketing and business goals.
This position will be a member of the Brand team under the Director of Brand Marketing and report directly to the Brand Manager. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Operations, Paid Media and Sales, to ensure consistent and effective brand communication across all touchpoints. In addition to brand strategy, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work closely within the Brand and cross-functional teams, including Design, Sales, Media and Product Development, to ensure alignment of marketing activities with overall business objectives.
- Assist in developing the planning, briefing, coordination, and execution of brand marketing campaigns across various omni-marketing channels..
- Support briefing of marketing content, including copy, graphics, and multimedia assets, to support campaigns and initiatives. Work with the design team to ensure visual elements align with brand guidelines.
- Conduct thoughtful market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights. Use this data to inform marketing strategies. Analyze and present research findings to larger brand team to inform brand strategy.
- Analyze campaign performance data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Assist in managing marketing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective campaign execution.
- Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, ROI, and other key metrics. Present findings to the marketing team and senior management.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
- Assist in the management of digital marketing efforts, including website updates, e-mail & SMS.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual strategic planning by identifying and presenting brand opportunities and challenges.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.4+ years of marketing experience, including campaign execution and content development.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Knowledge of health & wellness is a plus but not required.
