Relationship Manager
The Relationship Manager is part of the Notion Sales organization who works closely with cross functional partners inside and outside of GTM. This individual owns the commercial relationship with the accounts they cover - including a specific focus on retaining their existing paid footprint, mitigating churn risk and ensuring their long term success. As part of this focus, Relationship Managers are measured on their book of business retention and ensuring we have predictable renewals that happen in a timely manner.
You will join at the perfect time to shape how we grow and scale the function from here. As you engage with customers, you'll gain insights to help us serve them better and work with the product to inform what we do next. You will be the primary commercial point of contact for all our customer's needs surrounding their renewal. You will summarize key learnings back to our leadership teams. This includes forecasting a healthy and predictable revenue business for your territory and identifying risks early. Work with CSM team to identify at-risk accounts and put together a strategy to mitigate identified risk, ensure customer satisfaction, and secure the renewal. We've achieved more than teams 10x our size in less time and there's so much more to do and learn.
You'll need to bring 2+ years of experience in account management / renewal management or Customer Success Management, preferably in a high-volume SaaS environment. Ability to think systematically and operationally, with a focus on identifying and analyzing processes and workflows, to service a large set of customers. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding renewal targets and revenue objectives. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
This role requires the ability to communicate trends, risks, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams to adjust operational strategies and lead the direction of the development of new retention initiatives.

The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For this role, based in New York City, the estimated hourly rate for this role is $45.77 - $53.85 per hour with a $23,800 - $28,000 variable target, calculated to an OTE (On-Target Earnings) range of $119,000 - $140,000 per year.
