Job Summary :
Penn Fencing is a full-service employee-owned fence company in Western Pennsylvania offering careers in commercial, industrial, and residential fence installation. We currently are looking for motivated employees of all skill and experience levels. We maintain three locations : Butler, Seneca and Indiana PA. We have been providing solutions for our customers’ fencing needs for over 40 years. Our company follows these basic core principles :

Experience in the fence industry is not required; we offer comprehensive training. We are looking for quality people that want the opportunity to learn the fencing trade and grow within the company.
Responsibilities and Duties :
Assist customers that walk in or call in with product information and price quotes.Answering customers’ questions, resolving their concerns, and providing additional information via calls and emailsSupport customers to complete website sale transactionsAssist outside residential sales with in-home consultations during times of high volume.Developing new sales opportunities using emails, cold calls, in person appointments and lead follow-upsDevelop relationships and drive business with new and existing wholesale and contractor accounts.Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales and upsell opportunitiesExplaining and demonstrating the functions and features of products and servicesKeep up to date with product and service information and competitor offersAccurately complete all paperwork relating to estimates and sales orders.Return customers’ calls and messages in a timely fashionDesired Qualifications and Skills :
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalentAt least one year’s sales experience preferred but not requiredFencing, decking, railing or construction experience is preferred but not required.Ability to work independently and solve problemsAbility to multitask and prioritize the duties requiredStrong proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and other basic computer programs and ability to learn fencing estimation softwareStrong organization and time management skillsExhibit effective oral and written communication skillsMust have a valid driver’s license and insuranceMust be a strong communicatorRequired to pass a drug test and subject to random testingAbility to measure accurately with a measuring tape or wheelBenefits :
