Guardian has an immediate need for a Part-Time Dining Room Server to join our experienced and committed team at Discovery Point!

Discovery Point is a conventional senior living community with 183 units located in Mesa, AZ.

The general purpose of this job is to ensure meals are served promptly, courteously, and in compliance with sanitation regulations in a clean and attractive dining room.

For this position, we are seeking a dynamic self-starter who enjoys working with others and excels in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be friendly, communicative, and able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Compensation : $16.00 / per hour

Schedule : 25-30 hours / week

Benefits : 20-25 hrs per week : Employer-matched 401-K, 1 hour of State Paid Sick Time for every 30 hours worked, 7 Paid Holidays + 1 Birthday Holiday, Employee Assistance Program.

Please Note : Guardian will reimburse, if applicable , for obtaining a Food Handler License upon successfully completing 30 days of employment.

Qualification Requirements :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Must have valid food handler’s card.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English in a manner sufficient to carry out the duties of this position.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner; both verbally and in writing.
• Able to complete company training requirements for this position within pre-determined deadlines and attend other training sessions as required.
