The Opportunity

Adobe is looking for a Software Engineer to build, maintain, and scale a component library containing composable components used globally by teams across Adobe and used by millions of users worldwide. Working with Architects, Software Engineers, Product Managers and the Adobe Design System teams, you will architect, and compose your code towards creating reusable, flexible, accessible and robust components in React, as well as drive towards a better developer experience for our core persona : Software Engineers building applications at Adobe.

What you'll do

• Be a leader with a point of view on application architecture and technology to ensure adoption, consistency, and scale
• Be responsible for technical quality of the projects taken on by the team, guiding junior members and architecting the UI on all fronts
• Define, drive and implement a variety of design system patterns as part of critical projects that require a flexible, performant and pixel perfect solution
• Develop and exercise your leadership abilities with the team to promote an outstanding developer experience

What you need to succeed

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 $301,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job?related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

In California, the pay range for this position is $208,300 $301,600.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short?term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non?sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short?term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long?term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
