Szulgit Electric is hiring in Rochester, NY! We're looking for a skilled full-time Alarm System Tech who is ready to take on a career where your work truly matters. WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

Each day, you're installing, repairing, and testing electronic security and fire systems while making sure everything works to the highest standard. You prepare documentation for monitoring and billing, answer customer questions, and provide thorough training on how to use the systems you've set up. From designing layouts to setting up CCTV, alarms, or access controls, you work independently at multiple sites and ensure each customer feels safe and supported.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM AN ALARM SYSTEM TECH?

We need someone who can be flexible, working nights, weekends, and occasionally traveling. Additional qualifications include :

Basic knowledge of mobile technology and data devices for communication

Strong communication skills

Comprehensive understanding of electronic security systems

Compliance with all safety requirements

Possesses uncompromising integrity and ethical standards

Ability to follow safety standards and report safety concerns per company guidelines

Ability to drive a company vehicle safely

Ability to work in diverse settings

Ability to be flexible with your schedule, working some nights, weekends, and traveling when needed

Mechanical hands-on ability / experience working with hand and power tools is a plus
