Job description

As part of a diverse and skilled Service Delivery Team, you will be tasked with providing support for UFS clients. The Analyst position provides entry level support, installation, and maintenance for clients. The nature of the role involves continued participation in refinements of the product / s and / or service / s through basic maintenance, support, and automation initiatives. The role includes all the responsibilities of a Junior Analyst in addition to the below.

Role Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities.

  • Provide Support by investigating user problems and identifying problem sources to determine possible solutions
  • Perform system tests and implement solutions as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored or accessed by the end-users on the network
  • Provide quality assurance on installed products
  • Develop technical skills and stay abreast of changing technologies to provide exceptional service to clients
  • Meet all requirements of the established certification track for career development
  • Respond to customer tickets as they are submitted
  • Respond to tickets as they come in from monitoring software
  • Assist with the troubleshooting of new hardware for customers
  • Advise customers on best practices when requests are made for configuration changes
  • Train on new technologies
  • Study for certifications
  • Write documentation for new issues that may be found in a customer environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • 1-2yearsof experience in a technical support environment preferred
  • Experience with Windows environments is required
  • Experience with RMM products is preferred
  • Experience within the financial services industry is a plus

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like
  • Position requires frequent sitting and some reaching, kneeling and walking
  • Position may require heavy lifting of equipment, up to approximately 100 pounds
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • Work may require more than40 hours per week to complete the essential duties and primary responsibilities of the position
  • May at times be on-call or requested to work an evening or weekend shift
  • Local travel and non-local travel may be required via both ground and air transportation
  • Travel 0 -10%
