Join our dedicated team as a Medical Assistant in the Primary Care Clinics at UCHealth! This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while advancing your career in a supportive environment.

Positions Available : Various primary care clinics

Employment Type : Full-Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Schedule : Days

Compensation : $20.26 - $27.94 / hour, based on your experience

Minimum Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • MA certification or registration (Medical Assistant I)
  • Alternatively, if you have 3 years of Medical Assistant experience or are a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program, we will hire you into a Medical Assistant title without certification or registration
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required before start date, valid for at least 60 days post-hire

As a Medical Assistant, you will :

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider
  • Prioritize patient wellbeing and perspectives
  • Assist in training those new to healthcare and UCHealth
  • Coperatively work with ancillary team members
  • Embrace new knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Contribute to maintaining safety and quality in patient care
  • Your responsibilities include :

  • Taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and communicating changes in patient conditions
  • Keeping the care area clean, stocked, and organized
  • Maintaining medical supplies and equipment
  • Performing clerical tasks such as filing, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration
