The Customer Intelligence and AI (CIAI) team is a specialized Data Science group within Robinhoods Corporate Strategy organization. Our mission is to unlock deeper insights into customer behaviors, satisfaction, and market performance through Net Promoter Score (NPS), benchmarking, and advanced analytics. We apply data science, machine learning, and AI to improve customer experiences, drive operational efficiency, and inform company-wide strategy.

We partner with teams across Robinhoodincluding Product, Data, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Research. Our work powers strategic decision-making, enhances operational performance, and integrates into data science and AI pipelines across the company.

As a Data Scientist, Analytics on the CIAI team, you will strengthen and expand Robinhoods NPS and benchmarking capabilities. This includes designing and improving measurement frameworks, conducting deep-dive analyses, and shaping how Robinhood tracks and improves customer experience relative to competitors. Youll contribute to both recurring programs and new technical projects that advance our ability to measure company performance and improve decision-making efficiently.

The ideal candidate is able to wear both technical and strategic hatsbringing strong analytical and programming skills, paired with curiosity and business acumen. You should feel comfortable moving between deep technical work (statistics, modeling, programming) and business impact (generating insights, influencing decisions, driving change).

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA, New York, NY or Chicago, IL offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What youll do

• Strengthen Robinhoods NPS programs by supporting the full stack of data science workfrom data pipelines and analytics to dashboarding, reporting, and deep-dive analysis.
• Drive innovation in the NPS space, including experimentation with AI- and LLM-based approaches to customer intelligence and feedback analysis.
• Build and maintain scalable data processes to collect, manage, and synthesize information from a wide range of internal and external sources.
• Support competitive benchmarking efforts, providing technical expertise for competitive intelligence and contextualizing Robinhoods performance relative to peers.
• Advocate for customers by helping establish best practices in how we measure, interpret, and act on customer feedback.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

Base Pay Range :

Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)

$132,000 - $155,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$116,000 - $136,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)

$103,000 - $121,000 USD
