Mgr-Commercial Security

POSITION OVERVIEW :

Responsible for securing our Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) and driving our digital transformation initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Oversee designing, implementing, and managing robust security controls in all customers facing channels (e.g., .com, API, Webservices, offline automations software).

2. Propose, evaluate, and manage the procurement of new technology and software to enhance security posture.

3. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technology and business risks through the implementation of effective internal controls and ensure compliance with all relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.

4. Lead and oversee commercial applications security testing, including vulnerability testing, penetration testing, and security simulations.

5. Manage the operations security of CIAM systems to guarantee secure and consistent customer experiences.

6. Oversee the implementation and management of robust Authentication and Authorization mechanisms for API’s (e.g., OAuth 2.0, Open ID Connect, JWT).

7. Collaborate with development teams to integrate security throughout the entire API lifecycle.

8. Lead strategic development, ensure operational security across identity domains, and maintain strict compliance with regulations.

9. Comply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / procedures.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, information systems, or related field
• Five (5) years of experience in information technology, systems development, or related information security functions
• Proven experience with identity and access management tools (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure AD).
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, and PowerShell.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to identity and access management systems.
• Strong blend of deep technical expertise in CIAM.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Additional Details : This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Harrison, AR / Memphis, TN / Dallas,TX / Pittsburgh, PA / Lakeland, FL / Brookfield,WI. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight location several times per week.
