We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Accounting Clerk with handson SAP experience. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and contribute to process improvements across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, monthend and yearend closing activities.
- Use SAP to process transactions, analyze financial data, and generate reports for leadership.
- Review AP/AR activity for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and support billing, collections, and cash application processes.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Partner with crossfunctional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve system utilization within SAP.
- Maintain strong documentation practices and adhere to company policies, GAAP standards, and SOX controls.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, including direct use of SAP.
- Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills - Experience with SAP FICO modules.
- Background in AP, AR, or general ledger accounting.
- Familiarity with process automation or datacleanup tools.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
