Salary : $125,000 - $145,000 / year
Work location : Hybrid, primarily remote with ad hoc on-site work, frequency TBD.
This position serves as a Gunnison employee in support of a federal cybersecurity operations support contract. Join our exceptional group of cybersecurity pros!
Duties and responsibilities include :
Develop and implement secure configuration baselines across multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and enterprise platforms (Microsoft 365, AWS, GCP, Azure).Utilize and manage enterprise configuration standards such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST SP 800-53, and secure cloud applications frameworks.Lead the development of configuration management resources including GPOs, BigFix fixlets, and baseline deviation tracking.Conduct compliance validation using enterprise scanning tools (e.g., Tenable.SC, Nessus, SCAP).Provide professional technical writing for business justifications, risk assessments, and create comprehensive documentation including SOPs.Facilitate collaboration among stakeholder groups to develop and enforce configuration baseline standards.Requirements :
Extensive experience with enterprise configuration standards and compliance frameworks.Proficiency in the management of Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools, and configuration automation.Experience with leading collaborative forums and implementing standards across wide-reaching enterprise systems.Demonstrable expertise in SCM tools and compliance validation methodologies.Desired Qualifications :
Background in working with cloud service environments and databases.Advanced certifications in configuration management or cybersecurity compliance.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.Advanced degree in a related field, enhancing expertise in secure configuration management.Clearance Requirement : Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
