About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Health Research Publishing to lead our impressive portfolio of proprietary and society journal titles. This role focuses on driving strategic growth in both traditional and Open Access publishing models. The successful candidate will have a robust background in STM publishing and will be responsible for expanding our journal portfolio through innovative launches and strategic acquisitions.

You will deepen relationships with academic societies and shape the long-term vision of our division in alignment with global trends in medical research and clinical practice. Key responsibilities include setting and executing growth strategies, spearheading digital transformation, and enhancing the quality and impact of our journal offerings.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in managing publishing programs, a deep understanding of global scientific and Open Access markets, and demonstrate the ability to nurture strategic partnerships. Leadership and talent development are essential, as you will oversee a large global team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

To qualify, you should have excellent communication skills, a strong analytical mindset, and the capability to thrive in a global environment. A Bachelor's degree is required, an MBA is preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is essential.
