Job descriptionLead installation and configuration of Databricks on Google Cloud Platform. Monitor platform health, performance, and cost optimization. Implement governance, logging, and auditing mechanisms. Develop scalable ETL / ELT pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to enhance workflows and models. Optimize notebooks and jobs for performance and reliability. Provide L2 / L3 support for Databricks issues. Troubleshoot cluster failures, job errors, and performance bottlenecks. Maintain documentation for platform setup, operations, and development standards. Ability to work across administration, development, and operations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Description :
The Senior Databricks Engineer will support platform administration, development, optimization, and operational troubleshooting on Google Cloud Platform. The role requires strong Databricks expertise, hands-on engineering capabilities, and the ability to ensure a stable, scalable, and well-governed data environment.
Requirement / Must Have :
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with Databricks.
- Strong proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform Dataproc.
Experience :
8+ years in data engineering or related fields.
