Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position is based in Redding, CA, providing a rewarding chance to contribute to student development and munication skills enhancement.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Support students in developing speech, language, and munication skills within the K-12 school environment
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in pliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote successful outes for students
  • Participate in needed training and professional development activities

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant credential or certification as required by the state
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to follow therapy plans accurately and maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with relevant educational and therapy-related software is a plus
