About The Position

Job Title : RN Surgical Technician

Profession : Nursing

Hours per Shift : 40

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required, bariatric experience essential

License : RN

Certifications : CST, BLS

Must-Have : Bariatric experience

Experience in Robotics (DaVinci XI)

Skills in circulating, assisting with intubation / extubation, and patient positioning

Description :

Performs a variety of preparatory, scrubbing, and related services necessary to provide patient service in the operating room.

Assists with surgical cases in all specialty areas.

Helps with ancillary tasks such as cleaning, managing outdates, and assisting in assembling instrumentation in sterile processing.

No call responsibilities, and may need to work holidays.

Must be proficient in neuro surgery and orthopedics.

Mandatory skills include CST certification and BLS certification.

Additional required skills include scrubbing, assisting with sterile processing, and patient positioning.

Anesthesia tech responsibilities include room turnover, equipment safety checks, and stocking supplies.

Charge nurse support is available Monday through Friday with no charge nurse on weekends / holidays.

The facility has a total of 19 operating rooms split between two locations.

Telemetry monitoring is available with anesthesiologists overseeing procedures.

Some weekend rotation may be necessary, and employees may work some holidays.

RTO approval will be managed through the hiring manager.
