About The Position

Job Title : Surgical Technician

Experience : Minimum of 2 years, bariatric experience required

License : CST

Certifications : BLS, CST

Must-Have : Experience in Robotics (DaVinci XI)

Description :

Performs a variety of preparatory, scrubbing, and related services necessary to provide patient service in the operating room.

Assists with surgical cases in all specialty areas.

Helps with ancillary tasks as needed, such as cleaning, managing supplies, and assisting in assembling instrumentation in sterile processing.

No call responsibilities; would work holidays and no weekends.

Experience with general, robotics, bariatrics, ophthalmology, ortho, neuro, cardiac, urology, ENT, plastics, and minor vascular surgery is required.

Must be able to perform neuro surgery and orthopedics.

Mandatory skills include scrubbing and assisting with sterile processing and patient positioning.

Robotics experience is essential.

Tech to patient ratios are 1 : 1.

Telemetry monitoring is utilized, with anesthesiologists monitoring.

Support on the unit includes a charge nurse available Monday through Friday.

Technology and equipment utilized include EMR systems and IV pumps.

Floating responsibilities may occur within the same facility.

Potential weekend rotation and holiday work may be required.
