Team Description :

The Developer Experience (DevX) team is vital in ensuring that engineers at Coinbase can develop high-quality products efficiently and effectively. We provide critical infrastructure, libraries, frameworks, and tools that simplify and accelerate the development of top-notch applications.

What You'll Do :

Take charge of the frontend experience for our Internal Developer Platform (IDP), which serves as the comprehensive Developer Hub at Coinbase.

Develop and sustain React components and pages that interface with infrastructure products, including release pipelines, configuration management, asset management, real-time usage data, quality scores, and service documentation.

Work collaboratively with backend engineers, designers, and API publishers to design workflows that facilitate the publication, discovery, and evaluation of APIs.

Enhance the quality and design of internal tools utilized daily by numerous engineers.

Boost accessibility, performance, and reliability of the IDP user interface.

Collaborate with Staff Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Designers to influence product roadmaps and prioritize user experience.

Contribute to Coinbase's overarching design system and internal frontend libraries.

What We Look For :

At least 2 years of experience building modern, data-rich web applications using React or similar frameworks.

Proven ability in developing and launching user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.

Knowledge of current best practices and trends in front-end architecture, including aspects of performance, security, and usability.

Experience navigating the product and design lifecycles through close collaboration with designers, engineers, and product managers.

A track record of writing high-quality, well-tested code tailored to user needs.

Nice to Have :

Experience launching products from scratch (0 to 1).

Familiarity with the growth phase of a company transitioning from startup to mid-size.

Previous work on front-end teams in finance or platform services.

At least 1 year of experience specifically developing React applications.

Experience with Golang, GraphQL, Docker, and NoSQL Databases.

Pay Transparency Notice : Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).

Pay Range : $152,405 - $179,300 USD
