Your Day at Lowe's

As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers, help them find the right products, and ensure customer needs are met throughout the day. You will interact with customers, assist with product selection, and may load merchandise. Daily responsibilities may vary by department. Customer Service Associates work in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Decor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and complete other duties as assigned.

Travel and Working Conditions

This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores may occur. Working conditions vary by location and may include inside and outside environments with exposure to varying climates. You may encounter noises and moving equipment. Lifting guidelines : limit single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used as needed; powered equipment should be used with proper training or assistance.
