Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Entry Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities :

  • Transcribe information from various sources (paper, electronic files, etc.) into computer systems or databases
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of entered data by cross-checking with original sources
  • Maintain and update existing data, organize files (physical and digital), and back up data
  • Assist with generating reports and summaries based on collected data
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information
  • Utilize various software programs, such as spreadsheets (like Excel), databases, and other relevant tools

Requirements :

  • Fast and accurate typing skills for entering large volumes of data
  • A keen eye for detail is crucial for identifying and correcting errors
  • Prior experience with data entry tasks
  • Software proficiency
  • Familiarity with common software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and database systems
  • Communication and collaboration skills; ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and provide assistance when needed
  • Organizational skills; ability to organize and manage data, files, and other resources
  • Problem-solving skills; ability to identify and resolve issues related to data entry and data integrity

    • Desired skills :

  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry or financial institution
  • Previous interaction with senior level managers
