Engineering Manager

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Engineering Manager role in Cincinnati, OH.

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical professionals to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
· Oversee engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production, equipment reliability, product development, and workflow optimization.
· Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to support cross-functional objectives.
· Evaluate, approve, and implement design changes, process modifications, and new technology integrations.
· Manage engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, standards, and project reports.
· Establish and maintain engineering best practices, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
· Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot complex mechanical, process, or system issues.
· Support capital projects, including planning, vendor coordination, installation, and commissioning.

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field required).
· 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing engineering or technical teams.
· Proven project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
· Strong communication, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
· Proficiency in CAD, engineering analysis tools, and data-driven decision-making.
· Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and reliability programs is highly preferred.
