PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Easterseals is seeking a motivated and dedicated professional to provide support and guidance in the community to Adult individuals with intellectual disabilities in individual or group activities. This role is responsible for planning and implementing a daily schedule of participation to include employment and community activities.

As you build relationships with the people you support, you will share in the joy that they experience when learning a new skill that promotes independence in everyday life.

Qualifications (please pay special attention to bolded qualifications) :

• Must have compassion for others and the desire to support adults with disabilities
• Experience supporting adults with disabilities in a prevocational and vocational setting
• Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8AM-4PM.
• Must be able to stand and move around for up to 4 hours
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driving record in good standing to drive company vehicles
• Case management and documentation experience
• Computer skills
• Strong Customer Service skills.
• Must be able to stand and move around for up to 4 hours
