Quality Control Analyst I / II - Receipt Inspection

PQA / NQC Quality Control Analyst is responsible for performing the following functions on contractor furnished material (CFM) and equipment including, but not limited to :

• Review supplier provided certifications for adherence to purchase order requirements
• Review supplier approved procedures
• Review supplier test records
• Review supplier weld and NDT records
• Processing of material receipts through Oracle, MQS, MRPII, SPARS, and ApplCore systems
• Demonstrate competency in understanding Electric Boat procedures and policies
• Coordinate and work with Supervisors and Inspectors on proper handling of procedures, inspection plans and work flows
• Work with Supplier Quality and Engineering as needed
• Adjudicate material deficiencies through the ER / CR process and work to engineering dispositions
• Review and understand SSPs, SPs, MDDs, SDDs, Company Policies and Procedures
• Identify and implement ways to improve and streamline job functions and responsibilities
• Maintain department goals for participation and implementation of process improvements

Must possess basic mathematical, communication and interpersonal skills

Applicant will be required to work in a collaborative and team environment and meet organizational and department goals

Applicant must be able to interpret technical manuals, shipyard procedures, test documents, blueprints, diagrams, and VPARs

Must be able to navigate Email and MS Office programs effectively

Qualifications :

Required :

High school diploma / GED

0-4 years' relevant experience

Knowledge of MS office and basic computer systems

Applicant must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance as a condition of employment

Preferred :

Previous experience as a Quality Control Analyst performing vendor material inspection

Experience with Oracle ERP

Associates degree or higher

Military service

2+ years as a Quality Control Analyst
