Job descriptionPatient care : Assisting healthcare providers in patient care activities, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Medical procedures : Assisting with medical procedures, such as administering medications, collecting and preparing laboratory specimens, and performing basic point of care tests. Patient education : Providing patients with information and instructions regarding their medical conditions, medications, and treatment plans. Communication and coordination : Facilitating effective communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other medical staff. Compliance and safety : Adhering to healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and safety protocols to protect patient confidentiality Electronic health records (EHR) : Proficiently using electronic health record systems to document patient information, update medical records, and retrieve necessary data High School Diploma or Equivalent Graduate of a certified medical assistant program Basic Life Support at the Healthcare provider level training Experience in primary care or clinical setting Skilled with electronic medical records and email messaging systems. 1 year of experience in a primary care or clinical setting Bilingual (English / Spanish) Pediatric Experience Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance Accidental Death & Dismemberment Short-Term Disability Long-Term Disability 401K with match PTO Paid holidays
