Job Summary

Pharmacist is a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and regulatory-compliant verification of prescriptions processed during the shift. This position focuses on the second stage of prescription verification (PV2), providing a final review before fulfillment and shipment to patients. The PV2 Pharmacist must work efficiently in a high-volume production environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations.

This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to operational excellence to support the pharmacy's 24 / 7 fulfillment model. This position offers the flexibility to transition into a senior management roles based on the employee's performance and capabilities.

Work Environment

This role operates in a fast-paced mail order pharmacy setting. It requires long periods of standing, working at computer stations, and occasionally lifting or moving items up to 25 lbs. The shift operates in a controlled environment designed to optimize productivity while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Cognitive and Physical Demands

Schedule

Day shift hours : 10 a.m. - 6.30 p.m. / 6.00 a.m. - 2.30 p.m.

Overnight shift hours : 10 p.m. - 6.30 a.m.

This schedule requires flexibility to accommodate pharmacy operations and meet patient demands.

Job Type : Part-time, Saturday and Sunday only, 100% On Site

Pay : $55.00 per hour per day shift and $65.00 per hour for overnight shift. Will start in day shift for $55 per hour for training and until overnight shift becomes available.
