T1 Infra - Hvac Technician

Seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with a strong background in operating field equipment. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of equipment, piping, ductwork, dampers, valves, air movement, and exhaust systems. Refrigeration experience and a relevant license are highly desirable.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct general HVAC maintenance work, including inspection and repair of equipment such as pumps, filters, compressed air systems, and air units.
• Break down maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks while prioritizing activities like turn offs, shutdowns, LOTO, commissioning, and inspection.
• Perform duties requiring physical fitness, such as climbing stairs, working on roofs, and conducting repairs in various environments.
• Communicate effectively using a two-way radio and occasionally a cell phone.
• Work at elevated heights and understand fall protection procedures, including the use of lanyards, harnesses, and tie-offs.
• Explain and adhere to Health & Safety procedures, demonstrating the ability to listen and follow rules.

Work Environment :

The role is based in a large semi-conductor environment, providing on-site transportation. Expect to be on your feet for most of the day in a setting that can be dirty. The position involves working outdoors for extended periods and requires elevated work.

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $37.94 - $37.94 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
