• Advanced knowledge of Fiber Access GPON network architecture with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues and restore services require
• Manage access network GPON infrastructure of various vendors including ADTRAN, Calix and Nokia platforms.
• Works closely and effectively with various departments including, but not limited to, Broadband Field Operations, NOCC, the Consumer Call Center, and FTTH Technicians to develop and maintain our GPON network
• Take responsibility of new port / s turn ups, alarm monitoring and maintenance of GPON network.
• Day to day Network monitoring and Troubleshooting / technical support of GPON network and services
• Responsible for Change management process from preparing MOP’s to perform Network upgrades or maintenances.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for RMA and support for any issues or outages in the network.
• In-depth knowledge of IP network L2 / L3 protocols
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
