Overview
Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
This position will be located at NASA’s Marshal Space Center (MSFC) on the Redstone Arsenal located in Huntsville Alabama.

Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance at various small industrial sites on MSFC in support of high pressure gas generation and distribution systems. Perform non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity. Provide close supervision and training to less experienced technicians. Coordinate with engineers of non-electrical disciplines. Provide assistance to plan and organize work operations necessary to setup, operate, and maintain electrical/electronic systems in industrial settings.
- Preventative maintenance inspection and testing of low voltage switches, monitors, and other instrumentation
- Troubleshoot, Diagnose, locate, and correct malfunctions in electrical control and data collection systems
- Implement electrical LOTO of pumps, compressors, and other industrial equipment
- Fabricate, assemble, and modify electrical/electronic systems
- Working from Wiring diagrams, Vendor Documentation, engineering drawings, sketches, or written instructions.
- Receives all work direction from Engineers or Team Leads.
Qualifications
Education, Training & Experience required:
10+ years experience desired. Associates degree in Electronics or Electrical Technology desired. Will consider any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Required Experience/Education :
- Electrical Lock out Tag Out.
- Advanced knowledge of AC/DC circuits
- Familiar with various common electrical systems. Relays, solenoids, analog instruments.
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Knowledge in use of test equipment (multi-meters, scopes, etc.)
Preferred Education and Experience: Associates degree in Electronics or Electrical Technology desired. Experience working with or around high pressure, Cryogenic, Hydrogen, or Oxygen Systems.

Work Environment ( office, lab, test stand etc): Outside 60% / Inside 40%
Physical Requirements (ability to lift X amount of weight, sit or stand for long periods of time etc),: Lift 20 to 30lbs with assistance if needed. Stand for long periods of time when working outside. Work for height at times using ladders and lifts.
